The heritage of a traditional gin-maker was married with the wizardry of a taste laboratory in this sensory experiment for Tanqueray No. Ten. Participants were invited to sample botanicals from around the world, as we measured their brains reactions to smell, taste and touch. Once we identified the flavours enjoyed most, a gin cocktail designed exactly to their taste, awaited each of them on the other side.
